Business was audited and achieved the highest rating of 5 – Excellent in Nottinghamshire’s Hygiene Accreditation Scheme
Everyone’s hard work, ideas and commitment have made our salon the first Beauty Salon in Rushcliffe to have received the accreditation since its launch in 2018.
Nottinghamshire’s Hygiene Accreditation Scheme (HAS) is a voluntary scheme set up to maintain hygiene and safety standards within premises offering Semi-Permanent Makeup. The scheme complements the licencing requirements to register under the LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT 1982 Section 15 for semi-permanent skin-colouring.
The (HAS) introduction is part of a 4 point plan for Rehab Beauty Ltd
1. Offer a regulated, licenced environment for our staff and clients.
2. To limit the impact of further COVID related disruptions and future regulation requirements.
3. Positions the business closer with its ambitions to introduce a ISO:9001 accreditation this year.
4. Complements our plans to expand the range of treatments and our presence within the sector.
Going through the application process has generated a confidence within the salon that we have a safe, regulated environment and can offer assurance to the most important element of the business.
YOU, our valued client.
Councillor Rob Inglis: Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Environment and Safety Rushcliffe Borough Council made a presentation yesterday at the salon.
