We’re thrilled to announce that Rehab Beauty is proudly sponsoring this year’s award-winning Proms in the Park event, returning to Bridgford Park in West Bridgford on Saturday June 28 from 12.30pm to 9pm!
This fabulous free event combines live music with a celebration of our Armed Forces Day, creating a wonderful community atmosphere right in the heart of West Bridgford. As a local business that has been pampering Rushcliffe residents with luxury treatments for 14 years, we’re excited to support this fantastic day that brings our community together.
What to Expect at Proms in the Park
The headline act this year is Wild Boys, an incredible 80s tribute band who will be performing classics guaranteed to fill the dancefloor with hits from Duran Duran, Erasure, Phil Collins, Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, Prince, Queen and more! The stage will welcome a variety of talented local performers throughout the day, including:
- Nottingham Concert Band – 12.30 pm to 2 pm – a traditional band who have been performing at Proms for over 10 years
- Wonderful World of Charlie – 2.30 pm to 3 pm – award-winning Keyworth teenage singer/songwriter
- Mansfield District Corp of Drums – 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm – marching band performing military style music
- Notts Community Choir – 4.45 pm to 5.30 pm –a vibrant, fun and inclusive choir that expresses itself through the joy of music
- Lady Rose Duo – 5.45 pm to 6.45 pm – West Bridgford-based award-winning duo performing sing-along classic hits
- Wild Boys 80s Tribute Act – 7.30 pm to 9 pm – performing favourites from across the decade
Nottingham-born radio presenter and DJ Charlie Burley will be hosting the day’s entertainment. Charlie is the resident DJ for the Trent Rockets at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground and has interviewed celebrities including Kylie Minogue, Danny Dyer and Girls Aloud.
Supporting Our Armed Forces
Proms in the Park isn’t just about fantastic music and entertainment – it’s also an opportunity to show support for the men and women who make up our Armed Forces community. The event has been partially funded by the Ministry of Defence’s Armed Forces Day grant scheme and is delivered by Rushcliffe Borough Council.

The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal is this year’s official charity, working alongside the Armed Forces Community Covenant.
